Minda

Minda Incorporated (Minda) is a disability service provider based in South Australia founded in 1898. Minda creates an environment where people with disability can live enriched lives of their choosing. They facilitate a lifetime of care, services and housing for South Australians with cognitive disability, so they can live their best life.

Minda selected a Microsoft technology platform and illuminance Solutions as Microsoft partner to build pilot for a future Client Management System solution in 2019. Throughout 2020, a pilot program was conducted with one of its business areas to test the solution’s basic functionality and capabilities.

The pilot program’s feedback, together with ongoing consultation with leaders that added significant NDIS(National Disability Insurance Scheme) experience, has added considerable clarity to Minda’s immediatetangible needs and long-term strategic requirements. Minda focusses strongly on system, process and improvements and the pilot’s outcomes helped build fundamental guidelines for Minda’s key deliverables in their ICT roadmap.

Minda’s diversity in the services it provides to its clients allowed the pilot program to reach a significant cross-section of Microsoft’s cloud platform to assess suitability and capabilities, including Microsoft 365 Productivity, Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 Business Applications and Azure.
