Celebrating Harmony Week 2021 with an award

All Australians are encouraged to wear something orange during Harmony Week, and we decided to do so as well on Friday 19th March. When planning this the team did not know that illuminance were going to take home the Multicultural Business Award on the night before. As so happened, wearing orange really turned out to  be a way of sharing our joy and celebrating our multiculturalism and diversity even more.

Minda is a disability service provider that create an environment where people with disability can live enriched lives of their choosing. Minda selected a Microsoft technology platform and illuminance Solutions as Microsoft partner to build pilot for a future Client Management System solution.

Accessible drone training on a sunny Saturday

Drones – Principles to Flight is an accessible training program for people with mobility or dexterity impairment designed and conducted by illuminance Solutions, Techlearn and the Western Electric Sporting Association (WESA) that was held on Saturday 20 February in Langley Park, Perth WA.

Looking back before we look forward

Happy New Year! 2020 has been a year that can be described in so many ways, and has been chaotic, to say the least. With COVID-19 everyone had a fair share of disorder and finding new normal. In this post, we will look back on a few of the highs in-between the lows we experienced at illuminance Solutions, putting 2020 behind us before looking up and in to 2021.

Celebrating 5 years!

Five years ago Nilesh Makwana and Vincent Lam joined forces and the eventful journey of illuminance Solutions started. Marking our anniversary we celebrated alongside old and new clients, partners and team members and their families. Since our humble beginning we have moved office twice, we have won numerous awards and created employment for people from all walks of life.

Gone Phishing Tournament

Nonprofit Cyber Security by illuminance Solutions partnered with the Canadian cyber security firm Terranova Security earlier this year, and have collaborated on their second edition of the Gone Phishing Tournament which will give the chance to the organisations of Australia and New Zealand to measure the click rate against their peers – all at no cost to the organisation.
